Troubleshooting

A few hurdles are normal when configuring the Save Editor, especially those based on Cloud Native/Linux Steam.

Game Profile List is Empty

Solution: The path entered into the Settings URL might be wrong. Remember, the path points to the root configuration part like this .../Euro Truck Simulator 2/. Do not point specifically to .../profiles/.

Profile changed, but returned to Normal after loading Save!

Solution: This is a conflict from Steam Cloud Auto-Sync. The game is set to download Steam save file sync before Local Loading. How to fix it:

1. Launch the Game.
2. On the main Game Profile Selection page, click “Edit Profile”.
3. Uncheck “Use Steam Cloud”.

Save File got Corrupted Format

TTL’s Triple-Check System should protect you before this happens in the Save session. But just in case:

1. Enter the Restore Profile feature on your TTL web interface.
2. Open the previous Autosave History List listed there.
3. Apply (Restore) the Data and restart the Game.
